How to read this page

Start with minutes, then ability, then market. One number never decides a player.

Role

Minutes, starts and the last-five-versus-previous-five change. A role signal is not an attitude verdict.

Ability

Percentiles within the same league and position; only metrics with enough coverage are used.

Market

A third-party reference value, not a transfer fee or salary. Missing values are never treated as zero.

This period's watches

A short list of testable stories, each tied to minutes, ability or value evidence.

Harry Kane: this period's profile

Effort watch

Distance, high-speed running and sprints in the last five games versus the previous five. Goalkeepers are excluded. Only leagues with per-match running data are compared; missing values are never treated as zero.

Running changes need a little more data

145 of 707 watch-pool players already have a running percentile. The last-five versus previous-five comparison needs at least three covered games in each window; it will appear automatically once the season sample grows.

Watch pool

Only players who pass the minutes threshold; filters never change the percentile cohort.

Data boundaries

  • Reference values are third-party estimates with their own dates; they are not transfer fees, salaries or release clauses.
  • Percentiles compare players in the same league and position; if that cohort is too small, the page falls back to the same position across the five leagues.
  • Minutes falling can reflect rotation, injury, suspension or tactics. Running data currently covers only some leagues and missing values are not zero; neither signal alone can prove attitude or a decline in ability.
  • This page does not publish transfer rumours, medical claims or betting advice.
